Diplomacy Through Fashion

On Thursday, March 31, 2011 Dr. Loewinger, the wife of the U.S. Ambassador to Belgium, organized a fashion show bringing together an American and a Belgian designer. The American designer was Milly by Michelle Smith. Belgium was represented by Anna Heylen. Dr. Loewinger is convinced that fashion can be used as a tool to bring Belgium and the United States closer together.
